Projentum was established in 2010 by two highly accomplished and well networked recruitment professionals who have over 50 years of shared recruitment experience.
Having graduated in 1992 in Business Studies, Paul initially trained as an accountant with a then top 6 firm (BDO Binder Hamlyn) before starting his recruitment career with a niche business based in Manchester. His focus was the permanent placement of senior level accountancy professionals into large scale organisations in the North West of England.
He was then approached by a global recruiter where he successfully turned around their failing Manchester permanent operation, managed the Manchester branch (incorporating 4 different brands) and successfully launched their Interim Management division.
In 2005 he was headhunted by an independent, Northern based, recruitment company in order to create an Interim Management business for them. This he did and subsequently ran it for 5 years before leaving to establish Projentum in 2010.
Paul’s network of Project and Change Professionals in and around the North West of England is based on his integrity and ability to constantly deliver in a manner that just makes it easier for those who engage with him.
David started his recruitment career in 1995 with a niche recruiter in their Leeds office and worked on the launch of a division specialising in the placement of Interim Finance/Project professionals.
In 1999 he moved to a global recruiter where he successfully grew the revenues of their specialist temporary operation. David was then tasked by senior management to launch the senior Interim division covering the Yorkshire and North East region.
After 7 years with the organisation he was approached by a Northern based, specialist recruitment firm to help grow and guide their newly established Interim Management business.
Having built a successful business, he decided it was time to work on a more independent basis and launched Projentum in 2010 with his fellow director Paul.
David has built a substantial network of independent Yorkshire based contractors and is known for his straightforward and honest approach. He works mainly with clients within the Financial Services and associated sectors.
